Sunday March 13 - March 20 will be New Mexico Restaurant Week in Albuquerque, both High Finance and Sandiago's are going to participate. High Finance will offer a prix fixe menu for $30.00 per person, Sandiago's is offering a menu for $20.00 per person. Make your reservations soon, last year this was a very popular week for restaurants.

Chef Crews has some great specials for Valentine's weekend:

Prime Rib - New Mexico raised and grass fed, hickory smoked prime rib topped with herb infused au jus. Served with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. $36

Lobster Tail - 8oz Canadian lobster tail served with herb infused steamed rice and grilled asparagus. $28

Scallops - Pan seared wild Scallops, sauteed with garlic, shallots, and tarragon in a white wine butter sauce. Served with herb infused steamed rice and sauteed swiss chard. $25

Road Trip

      Before Christmas, My friend Trey and I embarked on a road trip from Clinton, Mississippi to Albuquerque, NM. One of the main things we were going to do while in the land of enchantment was ride the tram since Trey had never done it before.
       We were able to ride up on evening even though the peak was covered in cloud and snow. We lost most visibility near the peak but it was still gorgeous out.
       We explored around the walk ways at the top while sipping on coffee until we came to High Finance.
With frosted windows and the twinkling of Christmas lights through them, with lanky icicles and piles of snow beneath the windows, it was picture perfect.
We opened the door to a wave of warm air and the greeting from the hostess.
Trey and I enjoyed a fantastic dinner.
       We were worried the trip up would be a waste because of the low visibility but it couldn't have been any better!
It was definitely a highlight of the trip and would be of any trip! Even being from Albuquerque and riding the Tram plenty of times myself, it hasn't grown old and High Finance was fantastic!

Crew's New Years Eve Dinner Specials:
  • Prime Rib - New Mexico raised and grass feed beef. Slow roasted and smoked. Served with grilled asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. $32
  • Surf and Turf - Top sirloin grilled to perfection and seasoned with a Canadian Lobster Tail. Served with grilled asparagus and herb infused rice. $48
  • Polenta Stuffed Bell Pepper - served with green beans and herb infused rice. $19
  • Lobster Tail Dinner - served with grilled asparagus and herb infused rice. $32
  • Appetizer Special - Coconut shrimp served with Mandarin Tartar Sauce. $8

Christmas Specials

We will be open on Christmas Day at 11:00AM, serving our lunch menu and Christmas specials. Crews, the head chef will have two specials on Christmas Day: A top sirloin grilled to perfection along side coconut shrimp, served with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Special number two is a grilled Mahi Mahi served with risotto and green beans. Please come up and join us Christmas Day. The Tramway will be running uphill from 9:00AM, High Finance will seat diners until 3:00PM.

Holiday Hours

30" of snow has Sandia Peak ski area up and running everyday through the holidays. High Finance will follow suit and be open for lunch daily at 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM and we will begin serving dinner at 4:30PM. Please check back after the holidays for any changes in hours. High Finance is usually closed for lunch on Mondays and Tuesdays during the winter.
