Sandia Peak will open the 2011-2012 Ski Season on Saturday December 10th. Recent snowfall has provided an opportunity for an earlier than scheduled opening of 70% of the mountain with a 16” base of natural and man made snow.  Chairlifts #1, #3, #4 and the Children’s Mitey Mite will be in operation.

All facilities will be open including High Finance Restaurant, Sandiago’s Mexican Grill at the Tram, the Double Eagle II Cafeteria, Snow Sports School, Cubby Corner Children’s Facility, Rental Shop and Sandia Peak Sports Shop.

Sandiago’s Mexican Grill will be closed on December 8, 2011 for dinner due to a private Christmas Party. We will be open for lunch from 11:00am – 3:00pm.

Sandiago’s Mexican Grill will be closed for lunch on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, but will be open for Dinner starting 4:00pm. Remember Sandia Peak Tramway and High Finance Restaurant will be closed from November 7 – November 18, but Sandiago’s will be open for Lunch and Dinner during this time.

High Finance first day of fall hours, open daily from 9:00am to 8:00pm except Tuesdays open from 5:00pm to 8:00pm

Don’t forget to make your reservations for High Finance and Sandiago’s Mexican Grill for Labor Day weekend.

High Finance will be closed on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 for a private party.

Sandia Peak Tramway and High Finance will be closed from November 7^th through November 18^th due to Tram fall maintenance.

Sandia Peak Ski Area will resume full summer operations. Scenic summer chairlifts rides, mountain biking and hiking trails are open. Please come visit the Sandia Mountains and have lunch or dinner at High Finance.

Fire Danger remains extreme and visitors are still asked to please remain vigilant.
