The Sandia Peak Tramway will be closed from April 9, 2012 – April 20, 2012 for their annual maintenance. High Finance Restaurant will also be closed; however, Sandiago’s Mexican Grill at the Tram will be open regular hours during this time.

Restaurant Week

March 18 - 25 is New Mexico Restaurant Week in Albuquerque, both High Finance Restaurant & Sandiago's Mexican Grill will be participating. High Finance will have a prix fixe menu for $30.00 per person and Sandiago's menu will be $20.00 per person.

Sandiago's will also be hosting a tequila tasting & seminar on Friday March 23th from 6:00pm - 7:00pm in our private room. The seminar will be limited to 30, so please sign up soon. The tasting will be conducted by Modesto Cartaneja. Mr. Cartajena specializes in Herradura tequila and after the seminar attendees will receive $3.00 off a cocktail made from Herradura tequila.

The ski season will be wrapping up this coming weekend. Closing day will be Sunday, March 18, 2012. Spring skiing and boarding on a 40” base.
Come join us to celebrate the end of the season. On Saturday and Sunday all lift tickets will be $35 and your Peak Plus Card discount will apply.

Ski Area Opening!

Sandia Peak will open the 2011-2012 Ski Season on Saturday December 10th. Recent snowfall has provided an opportunity for an earlier than scheduled opening of 70% of the mountain with a 16” base of natural and man made snow. Chairlifts #1, #3, #4 and the Children’s Mitey Mite will be in operation.

All facilities will be open including High Finance Restaurant, Sandiago’s Mexican Grill at the Tram, the Double Eagle II Cafeteria, Snow Sports School, Cubby Corner Children’s Facility, Rental Shop and Sandia Peak Sports Shop.

SKI AREA DATES OF OPERATION:

Open December 10th & 11th

Closed December 12th &13th

Open December 14th – January 8th daily

Open January 11th - March 18th Wednesday thru Sunday & Holidays.
